This is Jay Burris, your Community Service officer. I am really excited about this upcoming semester. I am going to work hard to find places each of you would enjoy volunteering at.
That being said, we have our first opportunity this next week end. One of our members, Mark Daemon, has worked with a company called Specialty Produce. They donated some potatoes to a charity event Mark had on campus last semester. Specialty Produce is having an event called Fruit of the Soul. Th… Continue

Post 9/11 GI Bill potential scholarship update
Attached are the provisions of the Fry Scholarship. This amendment to the Post-9/11 GI Bill is effective August 1, 2009, but the benefits will not be available to eligible individuals until approximately August 1, 2010. Retroactive payments will be made for enrollments between August 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010. VA will begin accepting applications May 1, 2010 and will issue processing instructions prior to August 1, 2010.
